Happened to stumble upon the link to Prog Archives this evening from Roger Dean's official site (Amazing artist; Relayer is one of my favorite pieces), read some posts and decided to join.

I first got hooked onto Progressive Rock when I first heard "Heat of the Moment" by Asia in the early 80's when I was 9. Heard to believe that I can remember how young I was when I first heard it! (I'm in my 30s now). Decided that I just had to have the album, asked for it that Christmas and got it!!! I still have it to this day.

Favorite bands/artists: Asia, Yes, ELP, Genesis

prohobbit:

Watch out for KE9: he's certifiable!

Seriously, welcome to the site.  There's lots to see and do here.  Do some "roaming," write a review or two, participate in discussions, start conversations.

Have a good time!

Peace.

Welcome Proghobbit:

All the ELP section has greeted you, it's time for one Genesis lunatic to say hello, also saw this great band in your list.

Enjoy the forum

Iván

Hi PH, welcome.

Big smile

There's a couple of threads on Roger Dean and his work, you'll find them using the search facility. Do you feel that his artwork is a sort of recommendation of an album? What i mean is, if you came acrsos an album with a work of his on the sleeve, would you be more inclinded to buy it?

Good to see an Asia supported by the way, they take a lot of stick around here!

Can't say I share your love for Asia, but you have a sentiental attachment, so I understand. Liking Genesis makes up for Asia though.

Welcome to the forums! I reccomend you go out and buy all the Zeppelin albums right now! Because they are clearly prog rock, as we all agree here.

Collaborators will take your soul.
