Okay, so, basically, got me a new mobile talking device. Which is, to those of you who don't speak English, a cell phone. I've added my Jethro Tull wallpaper, set my Jethro Tull message, but was horrified to discover that in this enlightened day and age of Verizon Tones 3.0, we STILL don't have any Jethro Tull ringtones.

No King Crimson, no ELP, no Procol Harum...hell, not even a good ole Van Der Graaf tune or two! There were, oddly enough, some Genesis tones, but they were all "ringbacks," whatever the crap that is. Too bad, "Dancing w/ a Moonlight Knight" was there...

Anyways, here I've assembled some of the finest prog, prog-related, or almost, vaugely, but not really, progressive tones to my liking. And, yes, Yes is there. Squire obviously realized long ago that, incapable of being half the bassist that Jeffrey was, sold out to Verizon in a desperate attempt to cheer himself up.

Questions?

Actually, Solsbury Hill is my ringtone. Since I think it's so great, I'll let you have it as well.

Oh, and, by the way. I love both "Solsbry" and "Steam," but my favorite of the Gabriel numbers is "Come Talk to Me." Not for melody in this case, but for concept.

Just imagine:

You're walking through a church service of some sort. Everyone's somber and crestfallen. And out of nowhere, on the maximum volume......

In my town, there is a raincoat under a tree
In the sky there is a cloud containing the sea
In the sea there is a whale without any eyes
In the whale there is a man without his raincoat.

i think so. if your cell phone could play mp3, then just upload the song to your phone and sets it as a ring tone. there're also some programs that able to edit the song, so you can just use only part of the song as a ringtone. if you talking about MIDI ringtone and such, i don't really know, but i believe it's still possible

OH! I totally forgot! Bowie's "Changes," tacked it onto the list. Thanks!

Thanks, but I doubt it. Verizon is a real hardass when it comes to putting stuff into the phone (like the coveted ringtone).

How do I do this? Must I connect my cell phone to my computer or can I somehow send the mp3 or wav file to my phone?
