Or looses, depending on how you look at it. I vote Yes, though I love them, they lack a bit of experimental-ness to them, and they're a bit simpler. Still great, though.

I like all these bands, but I tend to find King Crimson a bit dull at times, so I voted for them

all these bands are too good to pick from, can`t seem to make up my mind on th worst one, I am a drummer and I have to say I feel floyds probably the less satisfying in the drums department but I can`t vote because I like floyd

True, Mason makes Starkey look like the drum god, but the intro to time, Great gig in the sky and set controls for the heart of the sun, prove that Mason isnt the name of a drum machine.

Mason is a good taste drummer and fits the sound of Pink Floyd perfectly and that intro to Time is better than perfect but you know what I mean hes no Bruford or Peart but maybe given the band he plays in thats prbabably just as well. I can`t vote on this poll its too hard

Although I do appreciate all of the bands that have been listed here, I must choose ELP: way too much centered around Keith Emerson's arguable virtuoso playing, they mix excellent compositions (Trilogy, Karn Evil 9, The Endless Enigma, Take a Pebble, The Great Gates of Kiev, Knife Edge for instance) and awful exercises in self-indulgence (The Three Fates, Toccata, the uselessly dragged middle section of the Fanfare for the Common Man...) Also King Crimson share the same responsibilities (from the heights of Starless, The Night Watch, Exiles, Lizard, Three of a Perfect Pair, Discipline, Red, Dinosaur and the like to the bottoms of the pointless Providence, Starless and Bible Black, Industry, The Sailor's Tale and so on) Yet KC's good songs delight me much more than ELP's ones!

Emerson, Lake & Palmer. I have their album "Trilogy" on vinyl, and I have also heard many other songs by that band. It's not that bad, but there's just too many keyboards, and the lack of guitars is annoying.
I can't understand why has Rush got so many votes, because in my opinion it's the best band of these.

Jethro Tull. A good and important band, but not really my cup of tea, with some good exceptions.

How can you not like ELP? Their music is goooooorgeous. Actually hang on...yeah they are pretty pretentious. But moo. So are many talented artists.
I chose Rush. Led Zep wannabe- totally. Still damn rocking and sexy though.
