There are many bands which canīt be defined as prog, but they did make a composition or a few more that could be defined as prog. Which are your favourite of these?

Telegraph Road by Dire Straits, a true prog epic that is better than most of the ones by Prog bands
who hiccuped endlessly trying to giggle but wound up with a sob

How about Golden Brown by The Stranglers or Marquee Moon by Television. Non prog, but both moments of musical magic from start to finish.

Cat Stevens' Foreigner Suite is some great prog, also..

'Foreplay' by Boston, 'Into the Arena' by Michael Schenker, 'Pleasuredome' by Van Halen, and prog metal epic 'Diary of a Madman'

They're not that interesting and super plagairized blues artists. Also, as time goes on, I see fewer and fewer differences between the artists who were on the radio in the '70s and the artists who are on the radio today.

That is completely ubsurd Jimmy Page took blues to the next level and has remained the high point. The discogography really evolves and progresses as well.
