I'm sure this has been asked before, but can anybody provide info of covers of tunes of which Allan Holdsworth was on the original recordings? Already on my list: Gary Husband's album of piano interpretations, Things You See
(Without a thorough check), John Clarke on the Bruford Tapes Red Alert: Williams/Auger/ Cipollina/ Montrose (Live In Toyko)OR Auger (with another lineup on Fair Warning).
In The Dead Of Night: Yngwie Malmsteen (Inspirations) Proto-Cosmos: Greg Howe And I 've already received info wrt other covers:
Funnels: Steve Hunt's From Your Heart and Your Soul
UK Mark II obviously covered tunes that originally had AH on them (cf the album Night After Night) Pierre Moerlen's Gong Live includes Soli that AH originally played on. Red Alert: James Murphy and Greg Howe from James Murphy album Convergence made in 1996.
Apparently Dream Theater have covered In the Dead of Night live but we are unsure if it has made it to record.

On the excellent RANDOM ACTS OF HAPPINESS (2004), BB's Earthworks featuring Tim Garland (no guitars!) perform 'Seems like a lifetime ago' and 'One of a Kind' from BB's early solo albums.
