I don't think Tull is blasphemous, I mean Ian Anderson's solo albums such as "Divinities: Twelve Dances with God" is New Age music about God (although probably a little more ecumenical than many Christians would find acceptable). If you really want to hear blasphemy in Prog Rock, then listen to the lyrics of ELP's "I Believe in Father Christmas"!

Hmm, just throwing this out there, whats better? Stand Up or Thick as a Brick, myself, i'd say Stand Up. |
Thick. Stand Up is a highly underrated masterpiece, in all senses of the word; but Thick is still Thick, and we can't do nothin' about it.

Not true. You may be offended if you're religious, but what they are doesn't change depending on what the listener is. Choose your words more carefully.
|
Obviously, it depends on what the listener is. It's all subjective. If I don't consider them blasphemers, then they're not blasphemers to me no matter what you or anybody else says. And don't tell me how to choose my diction. |
Well, Blasphemy is forsaking God TOO God.
I think what were talking about is more sacreligous more than blashpemy.
