I know to qoute another person you just simply click on the quote button but how do I quote more than one person in the same message? I've seen other people do it but the only way I can do it at the moment is to post a new message for everyone I want to quote.
Thanks in anticipation of your help

When you click on quote, you'll see the syntax in the response box. Just use the same syntax for each quote you want to use, changing the name of the person you're quoting as required.
I find the easiest way to do it though is to right click on quote for each of the posts I want to quote, then click open in new window.
Copy the contents of each response window into a single post.
Hope I've explained it OK, I know what I'm trying to say!

That's easy:
Open your new message in a new window or a new tab (right click and select does the trick in Firefox, not sure about IE, but likely similar). Then copy the text you want to quote from the other person's message to yours, and put inside a quoation block as shown below, and repeat for all quotes you want to make. Of course, instead of Post Reply you can also open Quote in another window or tab to get the first quote for free [ QUOTE=persons name] <copied text> [ /QUOTE] Just make sure to skip the space that I typed after the opening bracket [ in both cases. I had to insert it to show you what to type. The result looks like this

Quality is subjective, mine's more detailed, yours is easier to understand. What does better mean
Now off to Unsigned Bands, all of you, there's music to be discovered while I complete my Circa:2007 review. |
