Topic: The Psychotic Waltz 'family'Posted: December 07 2007 at 12:07 |

After the obvious addition of Psychotic Waltz and Deadsoul Tribe in the site, two more members of the P.Waltz 'family' need to be added IMHO
Darkstar (Dan Rock's project after P.Waltz, two albums, appearance of Brian McAlpine) and Buddy Lackey (one single effort while he still was in P.Waltz) now, I am not sure if they should be involved in Prog-Metal (Darkstar are closer) Buddy's solo effort has many folk elements, influenced by his 'Master' (Ian Anderson) I have noticed that Darkstar (Cleared in R.Freak - What does this mean?) and Lackey (new addition in R.Freak) are both in the discussion of inclusion, but what are your thoughts on this really? Thanks |

Darkstar are cleared(meaning approved for addition) for inclusion, and Lackey has been on our chart since the inception of the PMT.
I voted no to Lackey's addition,I just don't feel his solo material warrants inclusion under any of the PM sub-genres.

^ Thanks Jody
, I am too not very sure about Lackey's solo effort, however, I can hear some nice folk influences |
