Definitely with Neal Morse.

The new version of the band is OK,but Neal was the real creative force in the band and that is pretty evident since his departure.

With Morse but the last album was nearly as good as the Morse era albums, better than some of them.

Yeah, with Morse for me too. There's something missing from those three albums they made without him; none of them are bad and they still write a wonderful melody but the more pedestrian rockers that are on their recent albums I could do without.

With Neal.

Then again, I've always been a fan of Neal Morse. I prefer his solo career to anything Spock's Beard.

The current incarnation of Spock's Beard has given us a couple of nice albums lately; but, they've yet to venture into the realm to which Neal led them.

this is going to be about as one sided as any poll can get...

...while SB without NM is fairly respectable hard rock, it is nevertheless an omlet without the eggs....
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
