no clue... never heard a prog band called the Doors..
of that other group... you know...that popular one half a world physically.. and musically from prog.. couldn't pick an album cover that stands out. It's not like they 'art' like prog covers were. hahahha

From the list I choose "Strange Days".
But the best cover is "Full Circle". They were just three, but no doubt it is their best cover.

Must...resist...urge to...defend...Doors...to the death...
Ahem. Quite.
Strange Days. Hands down. Their best, one of the best album covers ever, period. ABSOLUTELY fits the album itself, like few other covers ever have. In fact, perhaps, like NO other covers ever had; the cover doesn't just fit the album, it compliments it, and every single song on it. It's a complete package. Eerie.
Followed briefly by The Soft Parade.
The rest run the gamut from interesting (debut, Hotel, Woman) to stupid (Waiting, Voices) to, for lack of a better word, STRANGE (Circle).

Morrison Hotel and Soft Parade are probably the coolest... though American Prayer has the best aesthetic

Morrison Hotel definitely has the coolest back story to it...
But the less said about Prayer the better.

Tea is for chumps and the Beatles are the corrupters of the youth! From now on, I'm sticking to good ole Umerican bands...like the Rolling Stones.
