Topic: Elder Kindered Posted: February 20 2008 at 08:24 |
Hi,
Yet another good band to pass under the radar of most prog sites.Elder Kindered were a British band who never got the chance to relese their music while they were toghter.
They fused jazz with rock in a very exiting way recalling Traffic,If,Nucleus and all those great brit bands who pioneered the fusion style.
They existed roughly between 1970 and 1974 and got the chance to record some quality stuff that is now available on CD entitled ''Kindered Spirits''.
No doubt a fina adition to any jazz/prog collection and of course on PA.Check this out:

they're mentioned in Gnosis2000 and RYM as prog
but I can't find more on the usual sites.
For me, it could be OK

And they should be ok!
Much proggier than a lot of bands on PA.
The fact that they're so obscure might explain thier omissions from most prog sites. They sound like Colosseum,Traffic,If,Nucleus,Zzebra and most early 70's european jazz rock/fusion bands.
