Who here enjoys that band? I think they're awesome.
Also, who knows who uploaded the band's image on their progarchives page?

Never heard of them personally... but maybe you could mention some of your favs from the band?
(btw, this probably belongs in prog recommendations or in Prog Bands, Artists and Genres Appreciation .) |

Okay, thanks for the feedback. I didn't know where to put this thread, since it was mentioning two things (who here is a fan; who put that certain promotional photo on their progarchives page). Here are a few songs that I believe are awesome by The 3rd and the Mortal.
Sophisticated Vampires
Salva Me
Veiled Exposure
A Touch of...
Ring of Fire

i own a copy of "Tears Laid..."... i think it's very good and mostly one of the first atmospheric doom/death LPs ever with female vocals a long time before the female vamp hype occured but, honestly i don't see how can they be cosnidered prog.. Edited by toolis - March 21 2008 at 04:41 |

I have all of their albums. The doom metal stuff is great and the ambient/shoegaze stuff is great as well. But I agree that I don't hear anything progressive about their sound...

Tears Laid In Earth may be considered as prog............ half of it, anyway. But besides of being one of the five best albums ever to come out of Norway; it is not progressive rock as such. But it is not progressive music.
