We are delighted to announce the 3 opening acts for the festival, and a very varied and exciting group of bands they are, proving what a broad church Prog really can be!

Seasons End will support Threshold on Friday 26th.  The band are a melodic female-fronted Gothic Metal band from Hampshire with strong prog influences, typified by their terrific debut The Failing Light released in 2005.  A second album is currently in the works.

www.seasons-end.com

Overvibe will open the Saturday of the Festival.  Following the superb set by Pure Reason Revolution in 2006, we return to the thriving indie-prog scene with the terrific song writing and synth swirls of this superb young band, who should delight fans of the Pineapple Thief in particular.

G.L.O.W will ease us into Sunday with their largely instrumental, psychedelic sound reminiscent of early PorcupineTree and Pink Floyd, built around twin guitars and programmed soundscapes.  A unique experience, that is not to be missed.

Nope - but they will act as "reserve" incase we have any late withdrawls.  The one band we have yet to announce isn't them....we're waiting on the selected band to resolve an availability issue net weekend.

Expect an announcement re ticket sales very soon, though...

Hmm, I may go just to see The Tangent.  I've liked their previous albums and still need to pick up their new album.

I'm not sure if I'll go for all three days yet... I'll have to see.

Thanks - I was joking and like to think we take the bad write-ups in good spirit! I think that after three years on the trot, it's time to give others a go. It'll also be good to actually watch the show for a change.
No doubt we'll be back at the fest in future years.
