I wonder if people who don't visit the forums are starting to wonder what the hell's up with the sudden flood of Zappa reviews?LOL  Shhh, don't let them in on it.

I love it when these guys promote things here.   I'm certain not to win, but it still introduces me to some great music.  Tell our sponsors that, M@X!!!   Let them know that their efforts aren't wasted!!!

Apostrophe..................a Zappa album, which when listened to as presented on vinyl, kept your attention for an entire side. Unlike some other Zappa albums, which usually contain a bad song or two, this one actually holds together fairly well. And on a stereo capable of perfectly clear reproduction at 1000 watts per channel, it sounded great.

Great Googily Moogily..............

I've only watched the first DVD of the set so far & I have to say I'm very favorably impressed; not quite sure what I was expecting, but it's quite a show!

Awesome idea. Wish I could play but my Zappa knowledge is hardly good enough to write a review, plus I've only heard Joe's Garage.

I could go crazy, because I have just found "Us or them" and "Does Humor Belong in Music?" in my dad's LP-collection.. a bit late, isn't it? Unhappy

The five posts following the announcement are by the five winners.

Thanks PA/M@X/Chance/Luck/Zappa!

I can't help but feel a little unworthy. I only wrote two reviews, some people did hundreds. Oh well.

Fed-Ex dropped mine off today.  I didn't realize I was in for a double DVD and a CD package.  I am overwhelmed and very thankful.  It's pretty good by the way.  Dweezil certainly has his Dad's talent for playing guitar, the band's really good.  I hope he has the same creativity to put out some original albums in the future of the same caliber as many of his Dad's.  Big shadow to get out from under and big shoes to try and fill. Thumbs%20Up
Better yet, they're coming to Atlanta on tour June 12. Big%20smile  Gongzilla, too, June 20.  Aieee!!!!
