Same here, and this came from a trusted vendor from whom I've bought from dozens of times before. And they only sell new, unopened CDs.

LP just arrived in the mail from France. Woo hooo Bought the download on Bandcamp and you also get the LP. It's a great album by a new band that will be added to PA soon (RIO/Avant). Linky link: Edited by HolyMoly - June 17 2013 at 18:14 |

Over the past 3 months I've had to dramatically limit my spending. Gone are the days of getting a CD in the post every other day, so in that time I've only managed to buy four CD's.
Man - Maximum Darkness Man - Back Into The Future Rush - s/t Rush - 2112 |

I buy used all the time and have never had an issue with a CD that won't play.

Sure. I can see that happening, but me the extra few dollars is worth buying CDs new. There is something about peeling off that shrink wrap that is so satisfying. Lol I like 'new' cause I have far more assurances. That, and I would like my CDs to last a life time. |

^ Sorry, I'm just so used to buying new that I completely forgot about used. I do remember darkshade complaining about one used CD: "Used like new my ass", or something in the spirit of that.

^That happens. My Rush - Different Stages had scratches that affected play. Irritating to say the least! Returned it, of course, and got my money back, but had to pay for postage for the return.
Bought: Black Sabbath - Vol 4 The Doors - L.A. Woman Shining - One One One |
