Probably not anything I can actually get here, then.  That's too bad.

I had that one tonight.  Amber lager- great, but other than the pretty picture, nothing remarkable, really.

Have not had that beer from that brewery, but their "Norwegian Wood" is awesome. It is a smoked beer with juniper berries, and is quite delicious and not overly smoky.

The Two Hearted Ale is pretty good if you're ever inclined.

Haven't tried any from HaandBryggeriet yet. Any recommendations, Agi? ^This one?

Colin (Triceratopsoil) recommended another beer from this brand (can't remember the name now), but I haven't found any other than this, "Tremens", from "Delirium" in stores in Norway, so will probably try this one out soon instead.

Nocturnum.

Darker and tastier.

I've only ever found it one place - Co-op liquor store in Airdrie, Alberta.  They got 2 small shipments of it over the 4 months I lived there.  I bought the entire second one LOL

Not much in the way of bitter here, (at least that I recognise) so Guiness it is, followed by Newcy Brown (or a bottle of dog as it's usually referred to in these parts).

When I was out last night, they accidentally hooked the taps together for a Weisse and a Dunkel (can't remember which brewer), and noticed after they filled a pint, so the bartender offered it to me for free.  It was surprisingly good.

Ended up fairly nutty, with little aftertaste

Madison River's Copper John Scotch Ale is quite good. A properly peaty, smokey wee heavy, with lots of caramel malt. Yummy.
