I was wondering if anyone had heard these guys and what they thought about PA addition? J-R influences for sure with the late Pekka Pohjola on bass.
Some excellent info at hand too.

They should definitely be here. I haven't heard the earlier albums (from what I gather, they were more psych-tinged), but "Where Do We Begin" should pretty much justify their presence alone.

I'd heard of these guys before, and checked out a few of the youtube vids. It's rather surprising that there have been no other suggestion topics for the band, especially if, as was asserted on that webpage, that there were "probably the first exponents of progressive rock in Sweden." Considering that the great Pekka Pohjola was involved makes it rather more surprising. Looks like it would be a fair addition to Jazz-Rock. There are similarities to Blood, Sweat and Tears.
It's a jazzy, jammy, bluesy, and funky band. The band is mentioned here, CLICK, (a book description about Swedish Prog)

^ Pohjola only appeared on the "Where Do We Begin" album, I think. It wasn't all that great, if memory serves me well, but progressive, yes.

Jimbo: You're right about that, and I've noted that it's thought by others to be the least good album (and though jazzy, quite mainstream/ poppish I have read)
Pohjola then went on to The Group (as you know, of course, having prepared the addition). |

I have somewhere on my PC an album from a band called Made In Sweden, and the album name is Made in England released in 1970, i dont really know if Pekka Pohjola features there and i actually dont know if that is the band you are suggesting, but i remeber there was some jazz and a bit of prog there, i think i should give it a new listen.

I got Made in England.
Pekka is not on this one.Another great bass player Bosse Haggstrom ,who later ended up in Wasa Express.
George Wadenius moved to the states after their split and ended up playing guitar for Blood Sweat and Tears.
MIS did tour in England with Colosseum, andTony Reeves from that band produced this effort.
Yes I would say jazz rock along the lines of Tasavallan Presidentti,is not that far off.
So is this a fit.?I would say so,according to this album.
