2001 Prometheus 4.00 (3 ratings) 1998 Symphonic Holocaust 4.10 (35 ratings) Two modern bands in Heavy Prog -- if you don't know both of these albums, feel free to vote based on the myspace tracks alone. http://www.myspace.com/therealmaxwellsdemon http://www.myspace.com/mortemacabre Edited by Logan - December 15 2008 at 16:35 |

Tough call for me. Like them both, perhaps Morte Macabre slightly more in a way with its special sound.

Nice poll Logan. Tough choice for me actually but in the end i have to go with my guys from Anekdoten and Landberk who make up Morte Macabre. I'm sure a lot of people haven't heard Maxwell's Demon which is too bad because that is one amazing piece of Anglagard insipired music.

Really easy here, cheesy keyboards against a great bath of mellotron :D Morte Macabre wins!

I echo your sentiments, Symphonic Holocaust is an avalanche of disturbing emotions !
