I know. I meant, since it's a red X for Eclectic, then what sub-genre(s) is it a green checkmark for? |

Provided that RIO and Avant split, I think CoAM would fit nicely in Avant along with others like Mr. Bungle and the Residents.
Eclectic would be the backup. Electronic is one of the many elements I incorporate in my compositions, but I think it would be a mistake to say it is any more important than some of the others. What do you guys think? |

Eclectic, at this point, would be a "x + y + z + w" kind of blindfolded equation (which doesn't necesarrily apply to Ex, it was hinted more in the first album). You're pretty far, as I've said, from our art rocky bulk of music. Experimental, avant-garde is more the spot we'd (you'd) be looking for.

I totally think that Avant prog is a perfect place for CoaM.
By the way, "Demon" is a killer track!

It seems like any consensus so far is towards Avant, but we really need more genre team and collabs to comment on this.

I'll have a proper listen later -- though since I stopped smoking recently, it's very hard for me to concentrate on anything.

Errrm... I'd like to add that eclectic has rejected this band twice now, and where the hell do you get Xover from?? I don't see anything "poppy-prog" about the music at all |
