Dean, you got me there. Surely when Adam and Eve first did the nasty for the first time Adam shouted "EUREKA" at the top of his voice. Maybe that counts for something? I mean, I would think of myself as a genius in his position at that point (no pun intended)

Sex can be inventive, but I don't think it counts as an invention (unless you're a teenager Wink)

Sex as well. Does that qualify as an invention? If it does then it trumps all other inventions.

Man's greatest invention: The Shed!

Thread closed

+++sigh+++

Oh, go on then - carry on with your ideas, but we Greys defy you to find a superior invention

The Zippo lighter's pretty cool though...

If man invented god and god created woman, then man's best invention is the shed.

No, but my eardrums have been hit by the soft rock of Barry Manilow.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

I keep telling you people it's toilet paper.  Have you ever tried to wipe yourself with leaves?  On an unrelated note, have you ever been hit in the head with a soft rock?

I wanted to make a witty or at least funny "Mother's of Invention" reference here but it seems I have failed.

The iPod requires the wheel directly. It's it's whole interface.

I'm inclined to say:

The Internet
God (maybe)
Rational Thought (if that's applicable to the idea)

Man's greatest invention?

God.  Or is it more the other way round?  The jury's still out on that. ;)

Err... guess I gotta work on my reading skills Embarrassed. I just think contraception is a great invention too, and so are tampons.

Condoms too, I should add (it does qualify as contraception, but it has other uses, balloons 'n stuff...)

Although I'm sure our newish pope has issues with tampons as well as with everything else...

Wait, I shouldn't say stuff like that about the pope on a public forum, eh?
