are you asking which DT album it is most like, or which albums would be toughest to choose a favorite between?

I find Symphony x album to be really weak , so you could put it agains Systematic Chaos or Octavarium to do an interesting poll. |

It's my second favorite Symphony X album, after The Divine Wings of Tragedy. I think, however, Dream Theater's three "classic" albums are pretty far ahead. Awake>Images and Words>SFaM. I'd put V up against Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, which is a great album, which would be DT's fourth best album to me. Those two would be a fair match!

I like all 3 listed better, so I think a closer matchup would be against 6 degrees or train of thought

Other DT album, probably Falling Into Infinity would be the toughest to decide. Even then, DT pwns Symphony X.

Glad to heart that. Where do you consider I&W to be in DT's catalogue? |

I'd put V up against Awake. Both are near masterpieces and absolutely brilliant, very hard to choose between them. However, the other two represent something that Symphony X have never done, create a masterpiece.
