I don't expect a great many to know this Chrome Hoof album, or the band well, but I'm just curious.  It's a fun album (the name of the album sounds so farcical to me, but then the band is quite goofy).

If you don't know it, check out the videos at http://www.last.fm/music/Chrome+Hoof and the music at http://www.myspace.com/chromehoof

I would have liked to include Beyond Zade in the poll since I like what I've heard of it, but I don't have it yet.

yes! ive been waiting a while for this band to be added to PA, one of the best groups in britain at the moment. its a tricky poll though, with the first 5 songs and the last one all being briliant, but i went for Tonyte. It just features some incredible performances from bassist Leo Smee.

As for Beyond Zade, its well worth picking up as well, 'crunching down' being another classic moment..

Yeah, very good band.  I'd love to see them live.  Tonyte is the one I've played the most, it's such a driving, funkin' good song, but it's still hard for me to choose between Tonyte, Circus 9000, Moss Covered Obelisk (which has the most Magma appeal), Leave this Ruined Husk, and Spokes of Uridium.  And Pronoid is very good.

I like the bassist very much and he does some really good work that brings Paganotti to mind.
