Pendragon are back at The Peel in Kingston Sun May 3rd, tickets are on sale now, it's a bank holiday the Monday after so no need to worry about getting up for work the following day. Pure is expected to be played in its entirety, for the first time in the UK plus we're thinking about digging out another rarity that hasn't been payed for a while to add to the set list.
Tickets are available from the store in the Buy section, £10 advance £12 on the door....BARGAIN!

NEW T.SHIRT The  new t.shirt will be available at the gigs, which we will NOT be selling through the website for a while, the design is a very "new school" killustrations rock yer head off thing........it's very NOW!

Rotherham Rocks 2009

Thankyou Rotherham! The members of the Classic Rock Society voted PURE as "album of the year 2008" Pendragon are now confirmed as headliners for Rotherham Rocks on May 9th, the band are preparing to alter the set...again, it is being mooted that ALL of Pure will be played.

Tickets and more info from www.theclassicrocksociety.blogspot.com

At long flamin' last...a gig in Scotland, we are very very very excited to be getting back to Glasgow, as the last time we played there has got to be around 20 years ago......so here are the details
Date is Sunday 10th May
Tickets on sale from The Ferry office 01698 360085, Secxtra & Tickets Scotland  at £12
Address is The Ferry, 25 Anderston Quay, Glasgow, G3 8BX.

Just logged on to PA for the first time since last week and saw this thread.

I'll definitely be hitting the gig at The Ferry in Glasgow. Looking forward to seeing Pendragon for the first time AND (hopefully) meeting the elusive Easy Livin!

Glenn

Just picked up my tickets for the Glasgow gig this past weekend. Thumbs Up

Looking forward to this immensely. Pure has been one of my favourite releases of recent months!

Need to load up the ol' mp3 player with plenty Pendragon in prep!

Tickets for the Peel are getting like Hens Teeth! I have less that a hand count left! If you're hoping to get along to the Peel get a ticket order in ASAP!!!!!!

Rehearsals are going well, for the first UK playing of all of PURE plus a mega set of lovely lovely stuff, some surprises and favourites all there!

If you can't get to the Peel, hope to see some of you in Rotherham or Glasgow (which is looking pretty fantastic too!)

INDIGO Approve

I wonder how the Concerto Maximo DVD is doing, sales wise ? My local Record Shop doesn't stock, so I'm going in tomorrow to order it...

Concerto Maximo is going great! From the feed back people are saying it's the best yet DVD from The Pendies Approve   It's certainly sound the nuts!

The DVD's are produced and distributed by Metal Mind Poland, so we have no say on where it goes/how much it costs or anything like that. I think they do distribute to Canada/North Amercia via MVD, the band only benefit from sale directly from the Pendragon store though, unlike our cd's it's not our baby.

Where ever you do buy it from I really hope you enjoy it, it was a monster gig, and we're really pleased with the way it's come out.

Right now we're looking forward to getting ot and playing smoe more live shows, Indigo is incredible live! Tongue

Just back from the Glasgow gig. A fantastic night. The guys threw in a few reminiscences of previous trips to Scotland, including mentions of the heathery bar in Wishaw and the Kaim Park in Bathgate. Great memories. Throw in a terrific acoustic set from Abel Ganz, and all in all it was an excellent night!

Yeah, it was a great night.Good to see them back after a quarter century.
The new cd sounds fab so going to get it this week, plus the dvd !
Last saw them all those years ago at Glenrothes in Scotland.
Our local venue though was indeed the infamous Heathery Bar in Wishaw,
us being local Wishaw guys.Seen them many times there.
Nick asked the Heathery was still there, we shouted
replies but he couldnt here us, but for the record , the downstairs bar
is still there , no music, but the upstairs club closed down many years ago.
It has been converted to flats. In fact my mate who was with me last night at the Ferry
stays in one of the flats, where the stage was!
Only regret was having to leave during "Indigo" to get the last train home to Wishaw.
Hoped to get a chat with the band as well.
Tell the band they brought back memories for the Wishaw guys too....

Pity you had to go during Indigo as they played Wishing Well after that and finished with 2AM.
IQ also played the Heathery in the 80s. Any others you know of?

Embarrassed

It was an honour to meet you Mr Livin sir! Wink    From my crows nest view I could see a lot of smiley faces in the audience, it was nice seing things from that perspective for a change rather than just the backs of heads!

I've not had much time to sort out my pics yet, but I have put a few here...
