Echolyn is one of my favorite groups of all time, and I own all of their albums except for the debut.
Not sure which is my favorite... what is yours? |

I have all except for the debut and The End Is Beautiful.
Not an easy choice... maybe Mei or As The World... In any case, how's The End Is Beautiful? Would you recommend it? |

The End Is Beautiful is absolutely fantastic. It may very well be my favorite... but I'm not sure. The sound expands further on Mei and it's an absolutely essential release. I would definitely recommend it. Edited by MovingPictures07 - March 08 2009 at 21:34 |

Cool, thanks, on my list then. I'll probably get it with the reissued Cowboy Poems Free |

As the World is my first Echolyn album and to be honest, I'm having real trouble taking to this band. Though its only the 2nd inning and we plenty of game left

Try listening to As the World in pieces. it may be the length that's not helping. |

Mei, by a huge margin. It's the only one that still has any appeal to me, actually.

I've known about them forever but I'm getting more into them now, I recently got their discography but I'll wait 'till I hear all their albums before I vote. As the World would be pretty hard to beat though.

I'm surprised Suffocating the Bloom doesn't have any votes.

Mei is absolutely stunning...it's just hard to sit through a song that length ... consistently.

Suffocating the Bloom won my vote. The debut would be second.

Just got my first listen of Echolyn (Suffocating the Bloom) last night. Good stuff, need more listens. Obviously no vote from me. :3

It's not much different for me than listening to a concept album like Scenes From A Memory. If it helps, think of it as a concept album, instead of a song. |

Anyway, it's Mei for me, though As The World is very amazing too.
Pretty much all of their stuff is really good. |
