'the eponymous LP by Zakarrias presented their highly unusual blend of psych, folk, hard rock and blues, which benefited from diverse arrangements and clever, romantic lyrics. Zakarrias himself was an exceptionally talented songwriter and arranger, and with the quick demise of his band, the UK rock scene lost a representative of utmost potential.'

Brilliant album!

Undoubtly related to prog, but no more than Led Zeppelin.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

Don't know, I think Zakarrias have a lot of more 'prog related' than Led Wink

But in one think we agree, really it's a brilliant album Clap

I guess after re-listening I agree.

As every song on the album is similar to Zeppelins most proggy moments. It definitely has the feel of a forgotten rock-classic. Most of the time these "treasures" has a couple of great tracks, but there's no fillers here.

I'm making an active myspace link for the laziest members here: Zakarrias Check him out!

I'm sure the everyone into oldschool heavy prog will love this. Maybe heavy prog is just as relevant as progrelated?
