Well, I saw where this has resurfaced, so i thought I would give an update on my situation since I'm 'the cause of all of this' LOL

I am now the proud owner of a MacBook Pro. Have been for a couple months, now.

I can safely say that OS X is the smoothest, most reliable OS I have ever used in my life. Big smile Everything is there, right where I can find it. Nothing is made difficult to find, nor is there any shortage of software. I am very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone.

I use Vista since my laptop came with it and haven't bothered to go back to XP. I did install Ubuntu yesterday to check it out and play around with though.

Actually, it is in your best interests NOT to recommend Mac OSX to anyone. Once enough people own Macs, hackers and virus makers will descend on you like my local drunks on a crashed booze transport Wink

And what do we think of Google building an OS based on Chrome. I'm kind of exicited about it- a totally new OS built from scratch in the 21st Century, not an OS built on top and rebult on top of relic code.
