Alright, so I know most likely that DV will run away with this one, but I wanted to see people's opinions anyway. I'm not sure what I'll vote yet.

Actually, California. I'm not such a huge fan of avant-garde noise and stuff, really. California is a brilliant blend of hundreds of musical styles that still is musical, groovy, sometimes even catchy. Disco Volante has some great moments, but a lot of the more random pieces do little for me. Their self titled is pretty neat, too, but the extended stuff at the end of a lot of the songs and the less adventurous style presented puts it behind the other two.
So... a band that just got better with every album.

Their first one. Got me into looking for more "adventurous" styles of music.

California is quite excellent. Self titled is not bad. Disco Volante is one of the few albums that might get a one star out of me. I'm not entirely sure why, I just hate it.

I always liked the mood of California better.

I'm not sure it's the best of their bunch, but their debut is the one that drew me into the band.

I've never really liked their debut, there's good bits here and there but as a whole I've found it almost unlistenable. Disco Volante is great for that rare mega weird headspace that I'm in once in every two years, but California is the best tie between good songs and strange freakiness. That's my choice.

After hearing some of the more extreme avant-garde, Disco Volante isn't all that offensive to me anymore.. I slightly prefer California now.

Wow. To say the least, these results are way more interesting than I anticipated. 7-4-9 as of this post.

Piling on for California. It was my first one. The nice thing about Mr. Bungle is since they've hung it up, you won't go broke completing their discography in your collection.

I know the temptation to call "Disco Volante" best is high, it is quite a staggering album, but it was the debut that blew my mind so I'm voting for it. California was the weakest.
