Left gray bar on the sub-genre page

I wonder what do others think of this zone. I'm not sure if this is necessary, seems to me like a loss of substantial space, that if removed would reduce the scrolling. Additionally, the content seems "righted" on the page, a little bit weird for me, 

Just my opinion, of course. What do you think?

	I think it's the advertisement space just extending way too far. Anyway, the ads on this site should really be moderated, they don't apply at all
