Well it looks like a a great early prog band has found its way to guitar hero. King Crimsons 21st century schiziod man is going to be in guitar hero 5. I bet its gonna be a challenge.

Some might go as far as to say "The Earliest Prog Band" Will be cool to jam with (however I already jam with it on my computer version of GH III, you can add custom songs!) |

Yeah I heard about this a little while ago, it doesn't seem like something fripp would be willing to let happen from the little I know about him

It would be fun to play, but nowhere near challenging given the previous stuff. On drums, however, this song would destroy.

Prog is always the best, most interesting genre to have for a game like that. Keeps the player on their toes =D

That's because Tool is not very good. King Crimson, on the other hand...

I think Guitar Hero/Rock Band could help prog's popularity in young people. Dream Theater was in the last one, King Crimson on this one. The future looks a little brighter.

Having prog included in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band setlists certainly introduces the genre to new audiences. Iam a videogamer myself and when me and my friends played "Tom Sawyer" by Rush on Rock Band it was great fun.
note the other prog songs included in GH and RB setlists: Coheed & Cambria - "Welcome Home" Jethro Tull - "Aqualung" |

So true! Michael Giles is one of the most underrated excellent drummers of any prog - old or new... |

We may see those 9 year old kids replace their Korn hoodies with KC ones!

9 year olds? You're optimistic. Usually, I see 19 years olds with Korn hoodies, which means they are (or should be) in the college, studying sociology or philosophy.
Anyway, I'm still not sure that I would buy GH for the sole presence of KC or any prog band. I wonder if I don't prefer actually play the tunes on stage and, then, play RPG with my PC. |

And don't forget they had Dream Theater's Pull Me Under. I think they had a couple of other decent prog tunes but I'm having trouble remembering now. |
