Totally the animated Batman was the best, I loved that cartoon when I was 8. I remember this one episode Batman was dreaming and they had this amazing imagery of a bleeding gun. Stuck with me for like 10 years it was so good . Best Villain? Joker of course, joker is amazingly badass.

I went with Adam West. I love the campy, overweight
Batman, with the cheesy voice overs and great almost-
celebrity villians. Not to mention the clueless authority
figures. And the angst-ridden Robin.
Truly a product of it's generation.

I went with Adam West, you didn't get any homo-erotic humor with the other ones. Besides, the villains in the original Batman movie we so cool.

Christian Bale is the new guy, you know Pat Bateman from American Psyco.  Keep your eyes open in the new movie they filmed a lot of it like 3 blocks from my aprtment so on days they were filming I would walk around the set for hours and I'm fairly sure I got in a few shots.  So if you see a 6'2'' longhaired pale white guy in a K.C. shirt it'll be The Steve

The original (at least from a movie standpoint)

Michael Keaton.

Best villain: Joker. Especially in the cartoon, I always loved him that series. But also in the movie 'Batman' I adore Jack Nicholson's acting

Haven't seen the new one yet. But I hear Christian Bale is pretty good. I always thought he'd go a long way since I saw him in American Psycho. He's certainly grown-up to be a real lady killer.

Val Kilmer, although Tim Burton is definitely my favourite director ... I'd like to have seen them work together ... love Batman Returns
"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."
