I'm listening to Vitous' "Infinite Search / Mountain In The Clouds" (1969) right now for the first time and I find it to be a stunning example of pure, early Jazz-Rock. I don't know much about the rest of his career; what do the guys in the JR-F team think?

I'm more fond of his brother Sid Vitous.  Sorry, sorry really bad joke.

Of course Miroslav is already here as a bassist in other artists.  I haven't really explored his work as a solo artist, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it didn't qualify him for inclusion.

As Joachim Kühn, I think Vitous is more a "pure" jazz musician than a jazz-rock musician.
Excuse me, sir, do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior, Neptune, god of the Sea?
