Hylozoists

The Hylozoists biography
THE HYLOZOISTS is a Canadian post-rock supergroup formed in 2001. They contain members from bands such as CUFF THE DUKE, HOPEFUL MONSTER, GENTLEMAN REG, and TRICKY WOO. Their music can be described as excellent post-rock that will certainly appeal to fans of the genre. They are known for having a variety of lineups, but their distinct sound is present throughout all 3 albums. Their first album was released in 2002 under the title La Nouvelle Gauche, and showed their immense amount of talent and potential in the genre. Their second and third albums, La Fin Du Monde and L'ile de sept Villes built on that formula, and showed what an excellent post rock band THE HYLOZOISTS are.

They're definitely worth it. I downloaded all their 3 albums (legally from a Canadian site that offers them) and am very pleased.

I love them as well! I discovered them a little while back and am greatly impressed! I wrote their bio, and I definitely meant all of the praise I gave them. One of the best discoveries of the year for me!

It was their Canadian label, called Boompa but for some reason it's not available there anymore.
But it is on Emusic and iTunes.
