Life Stage

Band Members: Guitar/Vocals- Ross Phillips
                              Bass Guitar- Chris Miller
                              Drums- Andy Emerich

Biography: Formed in 2006 and originally from the small town of Magnolia, Life Stage now finds itself calling College Station home. Having worked hard the past three years, the band fought through growing pains, kept writing material, and finally, in the fall of 2008, reconvened in the studio to record what would become their first studio EP, "Stage 1". This self-produced and self-funded project was certainly not without its ups and downs, but it's completion and release in January of 2009 proved to be hugely vital, setting the stage for the future of Life Stage. Now, the guys look forward to a small scale tour in the works, and an album release in early 2010! So stay tuned, there will be much more to come from Life Stage.

Current release: Stage 1 EP, recorded and mastered at Magik Studios in Houston.

I would say Heavy Progressive, or Progressive Metal.

I´ve added Life Stage to the PMT chart on ProgFreak for evaluation, from what I briefly heard there was enough metal in the music for us to evaluate on the artist:

You can follow the development of the evaluation here:

I have voted YES for the addition of Life Stage into progressive metal. Follow what happens in the link Jonas (UMUR) posted above. I can't imagine there would be any objections, so it should only be a matter of time before you're added.
