Sixun - Ultramarine, where are you ?

As new member, I am quite surprised that 2 major french fusion jazz rock bands are missing in this impressive data base : SIXUN (featuring drumer Paco Sery, and bass player Michel Alibo) and ULTRAMARINE, especially the "Dé" album (featuring Mokthar Samba and Etienne M'Bappe).  Both recorded in the late 80's and early 90's. Ultramarine splitted long ago, but Sixun is still on the road. These two bands have strong african influences and offer two of the greatest rythmic section ever. I remember that Mike Stern (or was it Scofield ?) chose an Ultramarine song as answering machine message ...  In fact, guitar band players are also considered not only as virtuose instrumentists, but also as major composers (Louis Winsberg - Sixun - N'Guyen Le - Ultramarine). As far as drummers are concerned, you'll be amazed.
