I've gone from knowing squat about declensions to annoyingly correcting others. LOL

In written form, that is. When speaking, I'm still just as bad.

Aahhh, I'm the opposite. I have SO much trouble writing, but speaking I really am one of the best in my class.

I was strictly refering to these grammar tricks. Or the fact that except common words and those ending in -ung, I can't possibly know what the right article is.

I'm doing okay at speech too. (Extensive, memorized) vocabulary is what I lack.

Well you know, a lot of people speak it slowly, stumble, and mispronunce things do the wrong stresses all that stuff. I'm pretty smooth and don't make many of those mistakes.
OH! How do you pronounce ich? ICK, ISH, or EECH.   I was taught the last one, but I've heard them all.
Same with micht, nicht, dich etc...

Back on topic gents, let's see some votes here!

Never heard it in "ICK" form. Ish could be heard sometimes, yes, but a soft not-so-bluntly-english "sh". Otherwise, I've been "taught" and pronounce the latter too.

Phonetically, it's "IH" in Romanian.

And on topic, I already voted, not much to add to it. Tongue

Wink  I GUESS I'll take a Pats fan over a Cowboys one at least.

Personally, I like JJLehto myself. JJLehto on the other hand is a complete ass and not competent in German....

I don't think you actually care...seeing how I am just a stranger talking to you through a screen across some wires, but you have to know deep down I don't.

I may have been having a bad time for a while and you were the best target to take it out on, but I'm a man...couldn't let you know feelings like that Wink
