My wife and I love the new Italian Prog.  Her favorite was the last Logos album.  How come the albums are more expensive then most other prog bands new albums?

How many albums do you think the new Italian prog bands press?

Expensive? For new albums I suppose it's just because of shipment costs... Anyway, you can find some very good deals on amazon or other online stores. You can also purchase the albums from the bands, from the labels or from bandcamp. In many cases the only way to buy CDs or vinyls is by getting in touch with the artists...

By the way, Logos are an excellent band! If anyone else is interested...

Here you can taste an interesting track from the upcoming album Metropoli:
Lovely Clap The amount of vocals is a bit much for my taste though, I hope the rest will be more balanced.

About Logos, I ordered the double LP from a store in Lisbon last year and saved a few Euros. Shipping from Italy can be quite expensive even to my country.

FROM CAMPANIA...

Cirque des Rêves, from Naples... A band formed in 2013 featuring Lisa Starnini (vocals), Giovanni Ilardo (guitars), Giovanni Bruno (piano and keys), Corrado Calignano (bass), Andrea Esposito (violin) and Alessio Sica (drums and percussion).

The project came into being thanks to Lisa’s driving force as a charismatic leader and vocalist, and to the original mixture of different kinds of musical cultures - the Celtic north European folk tradition, perfectly represented by Edo on the violin, and the Real (non-manufactured) Mediterranean pop/rock with ethereal vocal lines... The new album "MIRABILIA" has just been released released thanks to the amazing production skills of Maartin Allcock (Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull, Yusuf Cat Stevens, Robert Plant and many others) and features some really great contributions from the Scottish maestro Phil Cunningham, hurdy-gurdy player Paul Saunders, eminent jazz violinist Sarah Smith and the Ondanueve String Quartet, one of the foremost string quartets in Italy...
