If you go to Greg's new website, you can read the transcript from his online chat Sunday night where he stated that he and Keith now work long distance thru Skype.. and plan on producing new material.

Also I think Greg and Keith would like to do more than the one show at the festival next July.. but that Carl is pretty booked up next year with Asia and his own band.  Greg even said something about doing something acoustical with just him and Keith.... Interesting.

Now wondering who else may perform at this UK festival in July (Victoria Park)..

I brought up awhile ago that it would be interesting to see ELP do a bare bones tour. Simple drum kit, piano and guitar. It would be nice to see what they could do with that in a theater venue.

They need to go dig out Carl's stainless steel kit from the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame for this.

You beat me to it. I got that link from DGMlive.

The good news is that if Lake and Emerson are writing together again it seems that there could be some new material or even an album on the horizon.

Hope they don't go the direction they went around the 90's (21st Century Schizoid Man, people of the eartg?)

Don't think too much of it. It was not in its natural habitat.

Probably. LOL

Well, its better than a tiger in a spotlight.

Talking of the tiger, I felt sorry for the poor animal when I saw it on the Beyond The Beginning dvd. It looked quite frightened. I would have been seeing the musical direction that they went at the time.

I prefer a tarkus or a manticore. If they can't find a live one, then a cardboard one would be fine to me. And afterwards blow it to pieces with their cannons. They have to top Pink Floyd with their stage show some day.

From what I see this is for one gig no mention of an album or any other dates.  I am not sure Keith's hand/wrist problem could hold up for a lot of dates. Maybe a DVD will come of it.

Who needs the money out of the three?

I would like to see this work out and a new album as long as it goes in a new direction.
