How to Flush DNS in Microsoft Windows

In Microsoft Windows, you can use the command ipconfig /flushdns to flush the DNS resolver cache. Open the command prompt and type the following:

C:\>ipconfig /flushdns
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

And please report back

Slava tried this in both XP and Vista and didn't help, unfortunately.

I'm talking with AbrahamSapien from Slovenia (Southern Europe) who also can't get here.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

For the past 3 days, I've had the same problem on and off. I get a Firefox can't find server message more often than not.

Ok, I have just tried to get in using my usual bookmarked progarchives page, couldn't do it, and got in via a link on progressive ears. This morning, though, even that link didn't work. This has only been happening to me for the past few days though, but it's happening a lot now.  Confused

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Major issue that I don't f@#$#@$ know what is causing it.

My clue is that ISP aaisp.net.uk  have lost the link with PA and create some problems with other UK ISPs because ISPs synchronize themselves daily.

I contacted them 1hour ago.

I will continue troubleshooting this.

Thanks for reporting

Max

The band in England, who alerted me to this issue 48 hours ago, is now getting access to PA. So something has changed to the better.

Sorry Max. I am just very tired after a weekend at my office/work and I was not concise enough when I tried to express myself.

British Telecom (BT) have had a lot of issues here in the UK for the last 72 hours. BT is the main ISP and they also owns all the hardware over here on which the rest of the ISPs and those on networks is vegetating on. I am not sure if this tidbit helps you though.....

Seems to work OK now. I also couldn't access PA for about 3 days, but now, everything is working again.

Good to hear some PA members are getting their access back, unfortunately some new ones are losing it, like Marty from the Czech Republic (though it's strange that he had access when the first guys were losing it). He gets "unable to reach host" when he pings progarchives.com. Also, Lithuania is still out of PA. Disapprove

It didn't work for me for a few days, but currently it does work (and I hope it remains that way). Right now Marty sent me a message and told me that it doesn't work for him currently.
