The ultimately sleazy sax lead by Mel Collins on Ladies of the Road. "I smiled and just unzipped her..."
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

I think that Andy Mackay is a very underrated woodwinds player. Roxy wouldn't be Roxy without him.......actually, without ANY of them......

LOL Yep. I'm clueless when it comes to your favourite artist. Even after going your Bowie playlist on Youtube a million times. Wink Except for that mini keyboard of course... I know about that one. Clap

Yes indeed, Most folks are familiar with Bowie as primarily a vocalist. He really was a one-man-band almost. He caught VDGG gigs, he saw Magma live, he followed Hammilll etc. the guy could write a song, and play many instruments. Once folks are aware of this, his credability jumps up many notches. The guy is a true Pioneer......

Might be a good thread to mention that Colosseum have a new album out Time On Our Side and it features some lovely Sax work from Barbara Thompson. One to check out for all Sax fans.

Any sax solo Ian McDonald plays is magical.  Many have already commented on the incomparable "21st Century Schizoid Man"...
