SHADOW GALLERY LIVE AT BARLEY CREEK

 

SHADOW GALLERY, widely considered a major and innovative force within the realms of progressive rock and metal, will be performing live in a special concert event on Sunday, September 5th at 7:00 p.m. Special Guests TBA.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance; $20.00 day of event

The band is excited about bringing their live show to their U.S. fans before touring Europe in October and headlining at ProgPower Europe 2010 in The Netherlands on October 2nd. 

 

Guitarist / Keyboardist Gary Wehrkamp commented, “Shadow Gallery is excited to get on the stage at Barley Creek and perform for our long-time, loyal U.S. fans. 

 

Guitarist Brendt Allman added, “We can’t think of a better way to kick off our European tour than in a relaxed, party atmosphere with fans, friends, and family at Barley Creek.” 

 

This is an all-ages outdoor event, however you must be 21+ w/ID at the bar.

ALLENTOWN, PA  7/20/10

American progressive metal band SHADOW GALLERY announces that they will be embarking on a European Tour in October 2010 with support from modern rock band Maplerun. The tour is set to launch with their headlining performance on October 2nd at ProgPower Europe in Baarlo, Netherlands.

 After the successful release of their sixth studio album “Digital Ghosts” in November 2009 via InsideOut Records, the band is set to bring their epic progressive metal music to Europe for their first tour, booked and managed by WarCry Entertainment Group.

Guitarist Gary Wehrkamp states, “Our fans in Europe have been eagerly waiting for the day that Shadow Gallery would take the stage and we are happy to finally be able to make this journey together.”

More dates still TBA. There will be a live DVD release of this tour (8 HD cam shoot) done by D'iMages (Ayreon, Neal Morse). The band will perform as a 6-piece (no Chris Ingles, replaced by Eric D). Shows will be around 90-100 mins in length, with the main focus on the heavier stuff from their entire catalogue. The Tannersville, PA show will be with Suspyre. The Paris show will be with Manticora & Divided Multitude and the one in Essen will be with Manticora, Divided Multitude & Maplerun. All others (exept ProgPower Europe) will be with Maplerun only. Weekend tickets to the ProgPower performance are selling fast, and there is a huge demand for day tickets for Saturday, which will go on sale September 2nd (if available). wow, I wish I lived in Europe right now. One of my all time favorite bands touring for the first time ever and I won't be able to watch them. At least there is a DVD comming, so my hopes are still high!
