Just listened to William Russell reading the Doctor Who novelisation of "The Dalek Invasion of Earth".  All 4 hours of it.

Now that's what Doctor Who should be like... lots of death, lots of dark moments and less humour.   Of course this is based on an original episode (William Hartnell era). I've not seen the actual episode.
