Life isn´t positive at all, therefore every poll cannot be always positive...

Mmmm.....it's hard to see how the "winner" of this poll could be anyone other than Silver or Stewart, given that their contribution to the band was, at best, utterly minimal, whereas all the others at least have a place in creating one of the greatest bands of all time.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. Even though I don't like the direction the notorious three took the band in, they get a pass for all the great music they did make. I went with their first drummer even though I like the album.

I can't tell who is my least favourite Genesis member. I would not even vote for Phil Collins.

How people can vote for anyone other than the last four choices is beyond me. Everyone else is at least partially responsible for some of the all-time classic Genesis moments. The whole "I don't like Phil Collins" attitude is beyond tired. Without him, you would not have had the same band from Nursery Cryme onward.

^^^ The two Johns and Chris were former drummers.. John Mayhew played on Trespass. He died a few years back, sadly.

Please bear this rule in mind too: " However, personally directed insults, denigration, etc. will not be tolerated..."
If you are going to criticise, please do so constructively and considerately, don't just say "I don't like him".
Personally, I don't see the point in a poll like this.

Me neither.
I fail to see why Banks and Gabriel have got votes. In fact, I fail to see why anyone would vote at all.

Ah.. In Dutch we call untouchable things 'holy houses', and this is definitely one of them! I voted for Collins. His drumming was between mediocre and awful and his influences into pushing Genesis to pop-music was a pity.

Phil Collins is a brilliant drummer. And both Rutherford and Banks are also responsible for Genesis' direction. Fact.

Ahhhh, the good ol' "They Should Have Kept Making Foxtrot-type Albums Even Though They Would Have Crashed And Burned" opinion - but this time it comes with a side dish of "WTF are you smoking" for that drumming comment. One wonders if you can possibly be serious, or are just trying to get a rise out of people. But, hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Yours is about 180 degrees from mine, though.

Absolutely and utterly spot on. Damn fine direction, I thought, as well.

Why the hell are Ray and Phil in the lead? I like them alright, so there. This really should be a just for fun poll. By the way, I could look this up but just who the hell is Chris Stewart?
