Seems this is a top 10, I'll select my current favourite track of each album, bar Giant For A Day (very disappointing) and the live Playing The Fool.......
Giant
Pantagruel's Nativity
Schooldays
River
Way Of Life
Proclamation
Free Hand
Empty City
Memories Of Old Days
Underground
GG always had tremendous opening tracks, hard not to pick them outright, but so many superb tracks to choose from, this is a hard task. I had GFAD on 2 occasions, years apart, and ditched it both times. I will not try again. Civilian was quite respectable, given it's from 1980. Much better than GFAD.

Gentle Giant is my favorite band so this will be tough. I'll only do 10.

His Last Voyage
The House The Street The Room
Experience
An Inmate's Lullaby
On Reflection
Raconteur Troubadour
I Lost My Head
Peel The Paint
Wreck
Definitely Knot Proclamation... This is unfair!!

In A Glass House
Interview
isn't It Quiet And Cold
Alculard

(giving up now)

... except to say my favourite vocal piece is Three Friends...

Favourite thing - the DVD CD set ... watch, listen and wonder... and the In A Glass House album.

Things I like about Gentle Giant - absolute intricacy, rockin' hard as and when, do amazing complex music and somehow represent 500 years (Bach onward). And still be unpredictable no matter how many times one hears them. These guys were on a whole different level.
