A new release with 2 Yes members :

Do you think it's going to be better than the new Yes coming out next year?

I'll probably end up getting both anyway, but this looks promising!

I'm looking forward to both, but I can imagine the Anderson/Wakeman project will be a light and fluffy affair, whilst the Yes will be somewhat meatier. Now if Anderson/Emerson were to team up, then THAT would be substantially more interesting.

Yes that's my thinking!  Anderson and Wakeman project will be touring and we'll play the nostalgia card by playing some old classics Yes songs with some new songs, where that i am not sure if it's going to be more interesting then some new Yes songs. I am not the greatest fan of Wakeman or Anderson solo projects made in the past. But i am curious to see what they can do together.

No sign of the album at the first web site mentioned on the poster and the other one just has a holding page.

Here's a link on the planet rock web site, where they talk about the tour and new songs.

I really wish they would become more active in the states again, but hey, whatever is comfortable for them.

And yes, this album is going to be better than the new Yes one. I can almost guarantee you. Now, the cheesy, hippie lyrics might keep me from enjoying it as much as I would have with classic Anderson lyrics, but the music will be good.

Whoa, exactly what I was thinking! Really can't wait for this one. Probably my most anticipated release for the next year or so.

Interesting, who will "win".
I expect more from the Yes album. They managed to release the excellent Drama witout Jon And Rick, while the solo career of both otherwise fantastic musicians is quite a mixed bag, to keep it mild.

Another Yes West versus Yes East? No, probably not.

Anyway, it's nice, if Anderson and Wakeman would release an album together.

I've grown tired of Yes, but a duo could be interesting.  I really liked the First J & V.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

^ I kinda agree, But Trevor Horn producing the new Yes album sounds interesting. I think the Anderson/Wakeman release with be " Lite" but worth checking out all the same.

^ Well, with a bit of luck, we'll have the Anderson, Wakman, Rabin project realized next year, and I guess that may be less "lite" than just the Andeson Wakeman album which is about to be released.

For me, Wakeman has released more 5 star albums on his solo career than Yes. And those 5 star albums from Yes feature Rick Wakeman.

I think it's already available during their concerts. I don't know if they will release it in a more widespread version later on. However, I think they will release a CD/DVD of their concerts, perhaps they will have all the new songs there too.

They used to have some information at Yes's official site, but they just took it out. However, you may be able to find more information at Jon Anderson's and Rick Wakeman's official sites.
