I just downloaded (legally) his solo album Forty Reasons, which is in the same line as his work with Alan Holdsworth (who plays on the album). If he isn't under discussion now (I used the search function!), the Fusion team should check him out.

LOL, that bass line is pretty much lifted from Led Zeppelin's Wanton Song.
Anyway, I'll pass the recommendation to the Jazz-Rock/Fusion Team, but be prepared for them asking you for more samples. |
