When I saw Pekka Pohjola in coffee advert in the late eighties or early nineties, I wasnīt sure what to think. But on the other hand understand it, prog musicians had always had hard times in Finland. And it was made his style, he just played bass in it, didnīt say anything.

Horslips circa 1971 or 72; pre 1st studio album advertising orange drink Mirinda from Irish television ad...It's a very catchy tune and is brilliant archive footage.

Hawkwind's Silver Machine was used in a car ad in the late 90's in the UK (can't remember which car)

I'm sure I read that Your own special way by Genesis was used in a cat food commercial in the 1970's, but I don't remember seeing it.

There's a snippet of 21st Century Schizoid Man is a perfume ad too, but I think it's the sample from some sh*t Kanye West tune.

It would help if I watched TV ad's, instead of lunging for the remote to mute the sound or change the channel
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
