Alright the Captain are three lads from Northern Ireland, Birmingham and Ilkeston who met randomly in the East Midlands, found that they had a shared love for bands like Hella, Holy f**k,Squarepusher and Primus and decided to make their own loud experimental math-rock together.

They deliver their own take on the math rock genre with a passion and intensity that has led to them sharing stages with acts such as Mono, Zu, Holy f**k, Ungdomskulen, ASIWYFA and Maybeshewill and many more all over the UK, Ireland and Europe.
The lads self released a couple of EP’s before joining Field records, their most recent “123.EP” was also picked up and released in Japan by Linus records and received various BBC radio plays, they've recorded acoustic sessions for BBC introducing as well as featuring in forthcoming independent films by Beat24 and I’m Not from London.

Alright the Captain release their debut album "SNIB" on Field records on the 7th February with distribution through Cargo Records, SNIB was recorded and produced by Tim Waterfield (Karhide, Public relations exercise, Lafaro) in Dub:rek studios, Derby and at the Field Records in-house Studio in Southampton.
