New tour dates for North America and I'm super excited.  I'm going to have to make the show in Nashville in February.  Can't wait till I can get the tickets

I really liked it, and ended up sitting right in the front but yeah the seats were pretty uncomfortable. The set was amazing, they played all the songs i wanted to hear. I thought anima was pretty cool, but i love minimalist and experimental music so i guess its a different story for me I bought their EP immediatly afterwards. Yes it was unreasonably hot, my lord that was a terrible venue.

I remember when they preformed Staraflur (im pretty sure that was the one) they paused dramatically and competely froze and some felllow yelled "I think its over" which almost ruined the moment for me, haha my friends were completely enraged about it afterwards which puts it from kinda stupid to funny for me.

Also I was really impressed that the lead singer (i forget his name!) could actually hit all the high notes he did. The band preformed very well.

How'd you guys like the show?

Sigur Ros themselves were absolutey amazing, but there were a few things that kinda faltered the experience for me:

1) Amina were B.O.R.I.N.G! I almost fell asleep. I'm sorry but I can't appreciate the whole droning experimental sound to that extent.
2) Really friggin' hot!
3) Uncomfortable seats, I almost think it would've been better standing up.
4) Sunday isn't the best night for me, but nothing I could do about that.

Overall though I had a pretty good time. I'd go see them again.

i got my tickets!

presale ripped me off my tickeymaster, but its all good and i dont really mind. the bronson center is a really weird little place on bronson that barely anyone plays anymore, but its going to be a nice intimate show. should be incredible.

Yeah, they're not on sale yet.

But I've got them on Ticketmaster Advance Notice.

I want to go to the Toronto show at Massey Hall, but even Massey Hall's website doesn't even list this concert yet.  On the band's website June 10th they said they didn't know when N.A. tickets would go on sale, but would let you know.  Appears to be no updates since then.

So I'd suspect the tickets are still not on sale yet.  Also, if you look at the tour dates on Sigur Ros' website, move your mouse over "vendor/tickets" for the USA/Canada shows, and try same for the Japan/Australia shows - see the difference?

Okay i'm sure this is a stupid question but I can't seem to figure it out with my limited computer skills.  How would you go about buying sigur ros tickets.  I want to go to the montreal show but i've checked ticketmaster and ticketmaster canada and they don't have it posted.  and I cannot understand a word the website says.  hahaha.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

as happy as I am about Sigur Ros coming to Ottawa, saying its bigger news then a pink floyd reunion is silly. Sigur Ros is going to have more tours and more albums, its going to be a semi-annual thing (theyll be back every time they release an album maybe more often) whereas how often does Pink Floyd Re-unite? The most popular prog band of all time.

God some people can be pretentious

! Surely i was elaborating! But seriously: Sigur Ros, Ottawa....HOW OFTEN DOES ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPEN?!?!
