The new album, Spyhorelandet contains 9 tracks, totaling 54 minutes of rural black metal, thematically embracing the tragedy of everyday life. Spyhorelandet is a journey trough an atmospheric, yet progressive and at times jazzy black metal landscape with a raw sounding production. On the record Bernt Karsten Sannerud (vocals, keyboards) and Marius Blekspetl Sjøli (vocals, guitars) recruited several session members, who contributed drums, bass and saxophoneSpyhorelandet is sung completely in a rural Norwegian dialect, and the lyrics are a revulsion filled letter to all of usThe album is produced by Bernt Karsten Sannerud and Marius Blekspetl Sjøli. Mixed by Bernt Karsten Sannerud at IKA studios, and mastered by Markus Skroch at Kalthallen.de.

Bio:

The once unspoken rule that you don’t sh*t where you eat, has been forgotten. Now, sewers cascade into open and inviting mouths, and every plate is overflowing. Swimming in these infested waters since the age of 15, Marius Blekspetl Sjøli and Bernt Karsten Sannerud – collectively known as Formloff - have recently toweled themselves dry and returned to the village where they were born. 5 years after the release of the avant-garde metal piece Adjø Silo they are back with the new dark black metal piece, Spyhorelandet.  Finding progression in regression, Formloff have crafted an album closer to the sound of their first demo, Overstyring, but more atmospheric, and far darker. The clouds are licking themselves clean, drooling bits of white ash as far as Eastern Europe.
