Why Not? I'm not a team member so I'm not influent, but I own White City and I've seen his performance at Rockpalast with David Gilmour in the 80s. I would say yes.

Regarding his (pretty underrated, though) solo stuff, Townshend could be added as Crossover act easily, but nevermind~

Don't be so sure about it Geek

I believe you will need the backing of a special collaborator before this suggestion goes anywhere - see here http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=73146&PID=3942761#3942761

Thank you for advice( PartyHappy Easter!)
BTW, what you think about Mr. Townshend solo as Prog Related act?
I think he's more Prog Related than The Who in general. Just my opinion, of course.

Not sure, maybe The Who are here because they are influential.

Yes, The Who is here as Proto Prog act before all. But I suggested Mr. Townshend for Prog Related.

OK, so here's the deal - you have to convince someone with Special Collaborator (as opposed to Collaborators such as myself, or Prog Reviewers) to "make a case" to the admins.

This is how it goes, to the better or worse.

I didn't know for that rule before I suggested few acts for Prog Related. If I knew the rule, no way that I posted these PR suggestions because i dont like this rule; I will never gonna "to make a case"! So, forget about. BTW, an interresting Mr. Townshend' statement in his recent interview - http://www.nme.com/news/the-who/55640

^ It's not easy, I agree. But I don't own this site and make rules, I just listen them :-)
